Shannon Park, LCSW

BIOGRAPHY

Shannon Park received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology & Sociology from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. During her undergraduate studies she volunteered for a mental health crisis line and worked part-time as a counselor at a group home for pregnant teenagers. After receiving her undergraduate degrees, she worked full-time as a Children's Crisis Respite Counselor for a mental health agency and as a Volunteer Coordinator at a shelter for homeless families.  

Shannon received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her graduate studies, she worked full-time as a counselor at a residential treatment center for children and teens. After completing her MSW degree, she has worked for several mental health agencies and one school-based health center in positions providing Crisis Therapy, Case Management, Wraparound Services, Supervision, and Child & Family Therapy.  

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband, family & friends, hiking, snowshoeing, yoga, listening to music, playing the piano, and laughing uncontrollably (a great medicine)!   

SERVICES

Sessions last 45-60 minutes

 I am on most insurance panels and can bill your insurance company if your insurance offers Mental Health coverage. I do not accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP). 

I have a flexible schedule. I am in the office Tuesdays through Fridays. In addition to traditional daytime hours, I offer some afternoon and evening appointments to help accommodate school and work schedules. I can provide

phone sessions for established clients
